Boseong County is located in Southern South Jeolla Province, neighboring Hwasun, Jangheung, and Goheung County and Suncheon in the north and Hoecheon, Deukrynag, Joseong, and Beolgyo in the south. Most of the county is mountainous, the only plain area is along the south coast.
